Just the Other Day I Went to Combaloo

Saw something interesting tonight. Saw a white dude stealing from a black cabbie. I was leaving my hotel and the cabbie was yelling at the guy that he better pay him or he's calling the cops.

Racism is bad in the United States, but worse, much worse in other countries. I don't know if that's supposed to make me feel better or not. I guess it helps take away some of the pain.

The pain I feel when the white business owner starts pretending to be pricing things near me when I walk in the store. Women locking themselves in cars when I walk by.

In my head I'm thinking, I'm a businessman! Entrepreneur! Masters Degree! I rely on me! But people just see the outside. Black. Man.
