So I need to lower my blood pressure and reduce my sugar. I've come up with a diet that has allowed me to lose 6 lbs in 4 days!
In the morning I cut up bananas, apples, carrots, and celery and leave them on a plate in the kitchen. I cut these up into 2-3 cm pieces. Whenever I have a little bit of an appetite, I eat a piece or two.
Also I started exercising again. Strength one day, and aerobics the next. On my strength days I just do push ups, sit ups, back ups, knee bends, and toe raises. Beforehand I do the yoga "salute to the sun" routine. I do a set of the strengths in the morning, and another set in the evening.
On aerobic day I usually ride my elliptical. I found it's important to break a sweat, and run for at least 45 min.
For lunch and dinner I have a low-sodium squash soup that you can purchase from Trader Joes. I mix in some Soycatash that you can also purchase from there. In the afternoon I have a Soy Protein shake that I mix in soy milk. I also have one of these shakes in the evening an hour or two before I go to bed.
So knibbling, and exercising will become my lifestyle change.
